Our History A rapidly rising star in the world of decorative accessories is Horizons International Accents, Inc. Founded in 1986, by Mona Sheerr and Jeffrey Walsh, as Horizons Trading Company, it was incorporated in 1990 under the new partially modified name. In the past 15 years Horizons has made a respected nationwide name for itself with representation in every major market throughout the United States, both in showrooms and on the road. You can't mention words "decorative acessories" without hearing the name Horizons. In 1996 Horizons was nominated for the prestigious "Arts Award" in the Decorative Accessory category, and again in 1999. Since 1995 Horizons has announced several major introductions in both Occasional Furniture and Accessories in wrought iron with glass, and carved antique stone and fossil stone. In Fall 1999 Horizons debuted an entirely new outlook as a licensee of Raymond Waites in the intriguing RW 2001, Beyond the Millennium collection combining all of their multi-facets: Wood, Terra Cotta, Antique Stone, Fossil Stone and Gems with Wrought Iron in a fabulous array of cultural artifacts from around the world. In the past 3 years Horizons has more than doubled it's showroom space on the 4th floor in the C&D Building as well as on the 12th floor in the Atlanta AmericasMart Merchandise Mart.
